Sometimes we get lucky in the Spring and the sun appears. We took advantage of the warm weather and went to play at the Camano Island State Park. There are forts to be built and shells to find.

Frazier Achievements
Frazier recently enjoyed a few days away from home at 5th Grade Camp. Every one of the children has loved it so far. I like that he is wearing his USS Midway hat from his trip to Nana and Papa's house.

Visiting Lincoln City
We took the family to visit Grani Dani Frazier in Lincoln City overnight. Although it was cold, the temptation of the beach was too much for the kids. We stayed in a cute hotel right by the classic cold Oregonian shore.

Katie's Birthday
Katie invited Mercedes over to celebrate her 15th birthday. I don't understand what happened with the cake, but it was eaten all the same.

Performing with Elizabeth
Elizabeth Turner and I enjoyed performing "Anything You Can Do" at the Stake Center. We have such fun practicing and performing and so rarely do it. She's a fantastic alto and can pick out a part from a mile away.

Reunited Family
While the boys were with my grandparents, Paul and the youngest two were with his parents in Salt Lake, and Katie and I enjoyed Education Week. We had a week of classes all over the BYU campus and I felt a little uneasy staying in my old apartments, Deseret Towers. I hadn't realized how lonely I must have during my college days, because just being in the dorms was very sobering. I was very happy to be reunited with my family at the end of the week.
