Reunited Family

While the boys were with my grandparents, Paul and the youngest two were with his parents in Salt Lake, and Katie and I enjoyed Education Week. We had a week of classes all over the BYU campus and I felt a little uneasy staying in my old apartments, Deseret Towers. I hadn't realized how lonely I must have during my college days, because just being in the dorms was very sobering. I was very happy to be reunited with my family at the end of the week.

Trip to Nana and Papa's House

It is a special occasion when the boys can go to California to visit Nana and Papa for a week. Although it was Calvin's turn, Nana said he would be bored without someone to play with. So Frazier got to come along.

After having a great trip to the USS Midway, Papa took them back the next day. They listened on their headphones and took the tour all over the boat.

They both enjoyed the pool and the beach. It's fun to imagine my boys playing in the same pool I played in at their age. It was the best part of my childhood.

I'm thrilled they got to experience San Diego with my parents. They are lucky to have time to get to know their grandparents.

Their home in Escondido was at 2518 Nabal St. Here's a nice view from the pool.
