Guicy Guice

 I have always found it easy to paper piece the American way. I'm naturally a flip-and-sew girl. Guicy Guice has produced some patterns that stretch all sewists. A little piece takes a long time to complete.

I gentle walk outside for natural light was nice after sitting and sewing for an hour.

Special Days

 Some days I feel like heaven smiles on me. I caught sight of two secretive animals today with a little help. While I was working at the machine, I heard Chuckles chattering at something outside the window. I opened the slider quietly and she snuck out. For a minute I couldn't see what she was going on about.

There isn't much damage that this little rabbit can do to my roses and lavender. She doesn't eat much. In the afternoon I went to my friend LynnDee's house. As we sat on her country porch she noticed something in the tree staring at us.

A barred owl come to see me? Well, maybe he came to see LynnDee; she is wonderful with animals. In any case, he watched over us as we chatted about this and that.

A New Bag

 Katie requested a new bag since the first one has disintegrated. It's quite large and fits everything and a Shakespeare anthology. Naturally, it requires a lot of fabric and interfacing. I asked Marnie to model the first Birdie Sling years ago so naturally she had to do it again!
