Running out of thread is a longarmer's worst problem. If I reach the bottom of the quilt and run out of thread at 10pm, it's all over. The nearest location for thread is 30 minutes away. I looked at the back of the machine only to see the last of it spooling off as I was still quilting. Luckily, I had pre-wound an extra bobbin at the beginning. Hallelujah.
