Goin' to the Country...
Jackson, Marnie, and I canned peaches on Wednesday. Of course, it was difficult to keep from eating them, and we ended up with 11 quarts out of 45 pounds. We did make a couple of pies and cobblers, but most of them disappeared out of hand.
I canned peaches a couple weeks ago too. We got 24 quarts. And I can't just let them sit on the shelf! I crave them! Last year we ate 12 quarts in a month. I got a jar out today and Jon was very upset that I wasn't saving them for a snowy day :)
